About The Teacher

'Leanne' has taught professionally for over 14 years. She is passionate about helping her students excel in their schoolwork and achieve their academic goals. To the delight of many parents, her students experience significant score gains! She is very well versed with America's standardized tests, herself having topped the best of them. She teaches students in various subjects and at different levels. Her students range from all various backgrounds and from different regional schools. Dr. Dodge is from Indiana and earned her PhD from Yale University, where she her dissertation about eighteenth-century aesthetics. As an undergraduate, she studied at Indiana University and graduated the top of her class (summa cum laude). As a high school junior, she scored a then-perfect 1600 (800 verbal, 800 math) on the SAT; she also received 5s on numerous AP exams and was designated an AP National Scholar in the United States. When applying to the top graduate schools, she scored in the 98th percentile on the verbal section of the GRE and received perfect scores on the math and writing sections. In addition, she teaches college courses at Columbia and NYU. She draws upon her own experiences in the college classrooms in order to help her students develop reading, writing, and reasoning skills that they will need in order to succeed in college. She is an amazing teacher and you can not ask for anyone better to guide you through to college! She is the best at what she does!
